Energy Headlines

A meeting of the Ukraine-Belarus Working Group for Energy Cooperation will be held in November. The decision to this effect was made in Kyiv at the 15th meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukraine-Belarus Combined Commission on Trade-Economic Cooperation.

Apart from this, as bilateral goods turnover is growing, the Belarusian party considered an issue to increase till the end of 2008 and for 2009 quotas of universal permits for Ukrainian automobile carriers.

The parties shortly plan to complete preparation and sign bilateral agreements, namely a memorandum of cooperation in energy area, consular convention and other documents.
