Ukraine is interested in Sweden’s experience in rational use of energy supplies. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Sweden Fredrik Reinfeldt.

Yulia Tymoshenko said that for every without exception country an energy supply issue becomes particularly burning under the global financial crisis. According to her, Sweden is the world leader in rational use of energy supply as it has learned to use the cheapest energy resources and save primary energy carriers at that.

Yulia Tymoshenko told that Ukrainian delegation members intend to exchange opinions on energy saving visiting the Stockholm eco region Hammarbi. According to the Ukrainian Prime Minister, the eco region Hammarbi – is a place with a complex approach to energy saving and use of regenerated energy sources. “I believe that this direction of our cooperation will be very topical in the near future,” the Ukrainian PM stressed.
