Prime Minister of
Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko is
satisfied with the outcomes of gas talks with leadership of the Russian
Federation. She told a press conference today.
“I am completely satisfied
with the outcomes of talks: this means to change the proportion of our
relations and makes Ukraine a reliable, stable player on the gas market, full-fledged
participant and absolute master of markets on its territory and closes down all
inefficient corruption, shadow schemes,” she stressed.

Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko is
confident that within nearest weeks the NJSC “Naftohaz”
and RAO “Gazprom” will sign a contract on terms and
volumes of Russian gas supplies to Ukraine and a contract on Russian gas
transit through the territory of Ukraine. Yulia Tymoshenko informed that every item of the mentioned
contracts had been discussed in the course of long negotiations. According to
her, the NJSC “Naftohaz” and RAO “Gazprom”
should sign two contracts for long-term outlook “for 10 years at least” within
the nearest weeks already”.
