NJSC Naftogas of Ukraine declares its gas transport system (GTS) is capable to secure regular and accident-free transit of Russian gas to the European consumers under the conditions of long-term contracts.

A subsidiary Ukrtransgas of the NJSC Naftogas of Ukraine annually carries out diagnostics of pipelines and gascomressor units on the objects of gas-transport system. Dynamics of recent years demonstrates that within the scope of complex corrosive tests around 7 thousand kilometers are checked annually. 2 thousand kilometers of gasmains more undergo inward diagnostics. Simultaneously all necessary repairs are fulfilled. Proper technical state of the national GTS is proved by smooth and reliable operation during the year.

All objects of gas-transport system of Ukraine undergo reconstruction of technical equipment to harmonize it with European standards. Over the last years 69 modern highly effective gascompressor units of national production have been put in operation. Capital investments amount UAH 1.2 – 1.3 bn annually.

NJSC Naftogas of Ukraine and OJSC Gasprom conduct analogous maintenance in repair and keeping proper state of gasmains. At the same time it should be noted Ukraine never disrupted implementation of contracts for gas supplies to the European consumers.
