Mitsubishi corporation is ready to cooperate with Ukraine in the area of energy saving
technologies of smelting cast iron and steel, in automotive domain and in the
sphere of applying advanced compressors. Respective projects were represented
by members of a Japanese corporation, Mitsubishi during a meeting with Prime
Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko today.
In the
process of presentation representatives of the corporation informed about
positive experience of Japan in the sphere of applying energy
saving technologies in metallurgical industry. In particular, they drew
attention to significant economy of electric power in the process of steel
production with the use of represented energy saving solution in smelting cast
iron and steel. According to the representatives of Mitsubishi corporation, its introduction on metallurgical enterprises
will be rather efficient and profitable for Ukraine.
On
presenting the projects for application of up-to-date compressors the members
of Mitsubishi corporation characterized them as highly
reliable and energy-saving. As they put it, these compressors comply with all
the standards of ecological compatibility and safety and are supplied for the
pipelines to the CIS states. Besides, these technologies can be applied in
communal sector.
Moreover,
Mitsubishi corporation demonstrated to Ukrainian party electric vehicles of own
production that consume electric power but not oil products or gas. Such kind
of transport appears completely environment-friendly and clean. Besides,
according to the representatives of the Japanese corporation, use of such
electric vehicles is advantageous for Ukraine as our state produces excessive
amount of electric energy.
The Prime
Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has positively evaluated the presented
projects and noted, Ukraine would study them and propose for
detailed considering in the course of a Ukraine-Japan meeting dedicated to
business cooperation, slated for March.
