In NNEC Energoatom a constituent assembly of Association the Ukrainian Energy Forum (FORATOM) was held. A line of Ukrainian enterprises – producers and suppliers of services in nuclear domain (notably, SkhidGZK, Radiy and others) have supported an initiative of the Company with regards to founding a national nuclear forum. The decision on founding of FORATOM has been approved unanimously.

During the meeting the participants discussed constituent documents, a format of founding of the national nuclear forum and further organizational measures necessary for creating of the association.

In the future it is planned for the associations to apply to the European Nuclear Forum.

The Association united on a voluntary basis industrial, scientific-technical, research-design enterprises, enterprises of any form of property dealing with scientific and technical issues of functioning of the nuclear domain.

Analogous national forums are created to support connections between their members in order to develop the joint stand in the broad circle of issues urgent for the nuclear area. The forums also destined to secure interests of their participants on the European market in the process of integration into the European structures.
