The Government is to approve a new Anti-Crisis Program on finishing of uncompleted objects of gasification of villages and rural-type settlements. The Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko informed on opening the Government’s session.

According to her, the Gov’t has studied the situation and found out for now villages and rural-type settlements of Ukraine possess a huge number of unfinished gas-mains and local networks into which about UAH 700 million were put, which were partially financed by the population, partially – by the state, partially – by gas transport organizations.

The Premier emphasized the Gov’t planned in the shortest terms to complete building of such objects and “trigger at full power the process of providing with gas those localities in which such projects have lasted for years”.

Together with that, Yulia Tymoshenko noted the strategy for Ukraine remains use of natural, accessible and cheap energy carriers – such as coal, electric power and renewable energy sources.
