Three years running FGL Energy organized drawing competition among 8-10 years old children from Ukraine and Belarus on a theme of gender equality upon request of the EC Delegation to Ukraine. By bright colours children imaged their own vision of equality between men and women. 25 thousand children from different continents, including 600 pupils from Ukraine, demonstrated their creative talent and emphasised on inadmissibility of violence of men over/above women. This competition stimulated children to think over such an adult and complicated theme. Needless to add, that Ukrainian pupils wins competition the third year in succession.
In a framework of the project FGL Energy was responsible for conducting competition, including: invitations for schools and children to participate in competition, contacting authorities of Ukraine and Belarus, distributing information about competition through leading Ukrainian and European Mass Media, organizing jury’s meeting for selecting the best pictures, organizing exhibitions and press-conferences with participation of high-ranking officials from the EC Delegation to Ukraine , organizing and conducting award ceremonies.
