The objective of the project was to provide consulting services in the Performance of the Energy and Environmental Audit of two Dairy Plants in Khmelnitskiy region and in Zhytomir city, Ukraine.
To achieve the objective, the following activities were carried out:
- carrying out an assessment and revision of energy efficiency and dairy technology modernisation projects and alternative energy supply options;
- providing analysis of plant technical documentation;
- providing comments on technical conditions of the existing milk powder production facilities and expert opinion on technology upgrade;
- providing support to assess the technical feasibility of potential investments;
- providing specific technical expertise for the dairy sector technology and specific equipment;
- assisting in reviewing/developing a bankable investment programme for the two plants;
- supporting in preparation of an inception report and a draft final report.
