The objective of the project is to carry out an assessment of the Ukrainian energy policy and energy sector development since the 1990s and to support the Ministry of Fuel and Energy in promoting the idea of joining the Energy Community Treaty (ECT).
In a framework of the project FGL Energy prepared a promotional brochure and informational document for Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine with analysis of all the pros and cons concerning joining Ukraine to European Community Treaty.
The brochure “The Energy Community Treaty: Integrating Energy Markets across Europe” contains the main information about ECT and consequences of probable joining, taking into account fact that in 2005 Ukraine showed desire of integrating electricity market of South-Eastern Europe countries and in 2006 got status of ECT observer and apply for membership in Energy Community. The brochure was published in Ukrainian and English languages.
